Went to Apollo Beach Lot 5 back in December. It's a really nice clothing optional beach with I went there on a Saturday, had no trouble finding a parking space in lot 5. Was a little nervous at first, the beach is beautiful, people are friendly but respect your privacy. I enjoyed my visit and will return. Allowed cars on a portion of the beach. Restrooms and outside showers were available. A man took a shower like he was at home.
The Canaveral National Seashore is known for having some of the most pristine and unique beaches in the New Smyrna Beach area. Because the beach is one of the more secluded spots to visit there are a few things you should know. The sands of Apollo Beach are made up of crushed coquina shells. The beautiful beach is sure to fill up fast, especially during the summer season. When the parking lot is full, the gates will close, and no one else will be allowed on the beach. That means anything you plan to bring along with you needs to be carried in. During summer hours, the shores are open from 6 a. So make sure to bring water, snacks, and anything else you think you might need for your day on the beach. Although Apollo Beach is a secluded, beautiful spot with lots of great options for a day in the sun, there are some things that are absolutely not allowed here or on any other of the Canaveral National Seashore beaches.
With or without clothes?

I want to enjoy the beach as much as I can. Please reply to this thread as we get closer to beach season Let us know the dates you're heading over Looking forward to meeting local I drove 4 hours from Jacksonville.
No tan lines here! Experience the feeling of freedom and go buff on this bare-all island. To access the nude beach area, the most northern section of Apollo beach near crossover 5 is all for nudity. The beach has recently posted signs telling visitors when they are about to enter an area where they may encounter nudity. Parking is very scarce here, so arrive early to avoid a long, long walk. Swimming, sunbathing and relaxing on the beach are the standard at Apollo Beach. Try a guided walk or canoe trip along the coast of Canaveral National Seashore and discover natural and aquatic life such as sand dunes and sea turtles.
